Privacy Policy

We collect your email, order information, and machine activation data (a device fingerprint) to issue and manage licenses.

The content you process inside the software (videos, images, text) runs on your machine and is not sent to BaoPeak.

Data is used to issue/activate licenses, provide support, and send transactional email (receipts, license keys).

We share the minimum necessary data with payment partners (SePay, Polar) to process transactions, and with BaoPeak's learning site learn.baopeak.com when you sign in there (see section 7). We do not sell your personal data.

API keys you provide are encrypted (AES-256-GCM). We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

You may request to view, correct, or delete your personal data, and delete your account, by contacting support.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

The learning site receives your account ID, email and name from BaoPeak when you sign in there. Legal basis: performance of the service contract you accepted when creating your account.

The learning site keeps your learning progress, Notebook and certificates until you delete your learning data or your account, or after 24 months without signing in. The Account › Learning page on baopeak.com shows a summary of this data.

Deleting your BaoPeak account deletes your learning data, sessions and study-reminder sign-ups with the same email from the learning site within 24 hours. A suspended account cannot sign in to the learning site; learning data is kept until the account is reinstated or deleted.

Reading lessons needs no account and uses no cookies. The learning site sets a necessary session cookie only when you sign in.
